The French Center of Culinary Innovation is a research laboratory, inaugurated in 2013, following the creation of Food Lab, with David Edwards. Allying science and culinary craftsmanship, The CFIC is the product of the alchemy between Thierry Marx and Raphael Haumont, physicist, chemist, researcher, and fine gourmet. The French Center of Culinary Innovation brings together researchers from multiple fields, whose studies and creations concern culinary artists as well as agro-alimentary professionals, all motivated by the same question: "How can we improve the content of our dishes?"Link to the Raphael Haumont website.
